Mission Statement
Chilton AC's mission is to support and enhance youth athletics for the benefit of the Chilton community.
Chilton Athletic Club is a non-profit organization funded by proceeds of the Nennig Park concession stand, an annual bowling tournament and private donations. These funds are used for diamond maintenance and improvements, equipment purchases, youth sports tournament fees, adult men's baseball teams, CHS athletic scholarships, Bowling scholarships, Chilton Fire Department, Special Olympics, CHS Dance team, CHS Wall of Honor, and many other local projects, programs and activities.
Chilton Athletic Club operates the youth baseball and softball program in Chilton for children up through Grade 8; the AC's have exclusive use of Nennig Park for these programs. The City of Chilton owns the park property and the AC's have funded and constructed everything on this land including the concession stand, baseball diamonds, pavilions, sheds, and fencing. The AC’s are in charge of maintaining the facilities/fields (volunteers to cut grass, coach, work the stand, etc). In addition the club provides guidance, leadership, coaching and financial assistance to teams for league and tournament play as well as supporting other teams that need financial assistance. Club membership is open to all persons in the community, 18 or older, who desire to support and enhance youth athletics. Monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at Neighborhood Bar and Grill or Nennig Park (weather permitting)
Chilton Athletic Club organized baseball teams play in the Calumet Baseball League which mainly consists of communities to the North and East of Chilton. Chilton AC organized softball teams play in the East Shore League which mainly consists of communities to the South and West of Chilton. The 7th and 8th grade boys along with our Mens Team also play in the East Shore League.
